'My first visit to The Lyceum was as a boy, seeing Duncan Macrae in Rob Roy, then just about every production as a student in the late sixties - Shakespeare, Chekov, John McGrath's Bofors Gun, Callum Mill as Willie Loman in Death of a Salesman. My first time on the Lyceum stage as an actor was in The Miser with Rikki Fulton, playing opposite Vivien Heilbron, now my wife- thanks for that. Many happy appearances since then, both for the Young Lyceum Company and in the main house, one of the most beautiful theatres in the country. Happy 50th, dear Royal Lyceum Theatre Company'
