‘I worked at the Royal Lyceum Theatre Company as actor and director between 1994 and 2002. It was a special time for which I feel a great deal of nostalgia. It's important that a great cultural capital city like Edinburgh should have its own "rep" producing good work year round, and this was certainly the case during that time. I have particularly fond memories of Private Lives in 1995, directed by Kenny Ireland, in which I played Elyot chase opposite my beloved late wife, Briony McRoberts, as the best Amanda I've ever seen.’
