- The Glass Menagerie directed by Jemima Levick
'It’s hard to believe that the Royal Lyceum Theatre Company has only been going for 50 years – given it’s such a landmark for the city and for the Scottish theatre community it feels like it should have been longer than that. I’ve grown up with The Lyceum. It’s where my professional career began, firstly as a student watching each season from any seat they’d give me (so long as it was cheap!) and latterly as a director where Mark took a gamble and offered me my first main stage show in 2005. Without that I almost certainly wouldn’t be where I am now. That beautiful auditorium is a place where dreams can come alive and magic can happen. It happens every time I walk in there and every time I work there. I can only hope it’ll still be there in my dotage. I’ll sit in better seats then too… '
