'The Lyceum felt like home for almost 10 years. There was a sense of family, of belonging to something special and not just on stage, this permeated through the whole company from the stage door, bar staff to the front of house. This is where I first formed a creative bond and close friendship with Kenny Ireland who was the heart of the company during this period and who played an integral part in the many successful productions which encouraged the creative revitalisation of this outstanding theatre. For me, being given the opportunity to play Hamlet, directed by Kenny was a tremendous privilege which I will always cherish. This and many other productions which were also so beautifully designed, lit and underscored by an immensely talented and creative team which included Hayden Griffin, Andy Philips and Matthew Scott to name only a few,  made working at The Lyceum truly memorable.'
