Mamoru Iriguchi

Mamoru is an Edinburgh-based performance maker and theatre designer with a background in zoology. His visually striking and surreally humorous performance work includes 'Eaten' (nomination: Critics Awards for Theatre in Scotland) and '4D Cinema' (Autopsy Award). His design includes 'Mincemeat' (Cardboard Citizens, Best Design, London Evening Standard Theatre Awards) and 'Love Song to Lavender Menace' (The Lyceum).

"The challenging pandemic offered me time to reflect and reimagine my performance-making practice. I am very excited to join the L21, as this will be an amazing opportunity to observe and learn thoughts and skills behind the creation process of the Lyceum team."
