Make a Donation
Please give what you can, as each contribution makes a valuable difference to our ability to create vibrant work, fit for Scotland’s capital city. Donations of all sizes are both vital for supporting the artistic programme and creation of work, and for our projects in schools, the community and our youth theatre. We are also raising funds to support The Lyceum's Green Initiatives and make our theatre more environmentally sustainable.
Donate below to the following appeals:
Since 1965 we have championed Scottish theatre talent, working with actors such as Brian Cox, Blythe Duff, David Tennant, Alan Cumming, Zoë Wanamaker, Una Maclean, and Siobhan Redmond from the start of their careers.
We are a charity, and making theatre is expensive. The Lyceum is fortunate to receive public funding, but we must raise additional funds each year in order to fulfil our mission of producing world-class theatre and drama education for the enjoyment and benefit of Edinburgh.
Please give what you can to ensure a prosperous future for Scottish theatre.
NAME A SEAT OR CLAIM YOUR PLACE IN THE BAR
Make a donation and we will help you pick a favourite spot in one of The Lyceum’s bars, or alternatively name a particular seat in our beautiful Victorian auditorium. Your chosen seat or place in our bar will carry a plaque inscribed with wording of your choice. You may wish to have your name on a plaque, or decide on a family credit, pick a favourite quote, or consider celebrating the life of a loved one by dedicating the credit to them. It’s also a unique way to celebrate a birthday, anniversary or give someone a fun and original gift.
We ask for donations from £300 for a plaque in the bar, or £500 for seat sponsorship, to last a minimum of 10 years.
Please contact us on 0131 248 4831 or email email@example.com to discuss naming a seat, or claiming your spot in either the Wyndham or Howard Bar.
SUPPORTING A SPECIFIC AREA OF OUR WORK
If you are passionate about a specific area of our work, please contact us to discuss how you could support a production, help commission a new play, or if you would like to donate towards one of our Creative Learning projects. There are opportunities for making a real difference in all areas of our work, and gifts of all sizes are greatly appreciated.
For all queries about donating by any of the means above, including leaving a gift in your will, please phone Mairi Rosko, Development Director on 0131 248 4831 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
