Support Our Future Talent

As anyone who has experienced The Lyceum season so far will attest, we are committed to the production of ambitious and engaging programmes of work. However, we are equally committed to excel at working with our community and with young people. As a registered charity we seek to cover our costs each year. Almost all of our work outreach work is only possible through additional fundraising. Whether it’s £5, £50 or £500 each contribution makes a real difference.

Thanks to the support of generous individuals, last year’s Christmas Campaign raised enough funds to pay for LYT bursary places for 22 young people for an entire year. This year, with your help, we would like to do more.

In 2018, we are aiming to:

LYT Discover

Introducing young people to creative experiences is a recognised method of combating inequality. The Lyceum passionately believes that access to quality theatre, cultural activities and learning opportunities should be available to all. LYT Discover benefits some of the most vulnerable young people in our community through after-school theatre groups delivered by theatre professionals from The Lyceum’s Creative Learning team.
