Acting Course for Age 60+

ACTING COURSE FOR AGE 60+

Our 60+ Acting Course offers practical performance workshops for those who are ageing creatively. These groups are suitable for theatre enthusiasts who would like to explore performance skills and techniques whilst having great fun. So far we have explored a whole range of different theatre styles, scripts and genres such as Shakespeare, physical theatre, devising from scratch and new writing. We have also had the chance to participate in one-off workshops with professional theatre directors such as Joe Douglas (The Arabian Nights, The Cheviot, The Stag & The Black, Black Oil) and actors such as Grant O’Rourke (The Belle’s Stratagem, Outlander).

We welcome people of all skill levels, abilities and experience. New members are always welcome. If you have any questions then please email learning@lyceum.org.uk
