Summer On Stage

SUMMER ON STAGE 2019

Each Summer we welcome over 100 young people to be the professionals in our building over the month of July, in our ever-popular Summer on Stage project. Aspiring performers work with theatre professionals to develop their performance skills, make new friends and perform on our main stage in a fully supported production, and for those who want to experience working behind the scenes, our two-week technical course will allow you the chance to help make it all happen.

All courses are bookable via phone; please call a member of our Box Office team on 0131 248 4848 to book your place. Box Office is open 10am – 5pm Monday – Friday.
All 2-week, 3-week and Technical course participants must be available for both Friday 19th and Saturday 20th July, which are the days of dress rehearsals and performances.

A huge thank you to all involved in last week’s Summer on Stage.  My daughter had a fantastic time and we’ll definitely look to book again in holiday time. I found the week and sessions really well organised, she loved the areas covered and was buzzing about performing on the stage on Friday. The show was fantastic, a great way to end the week.

I am emailing to congratulate you on the wonderful performance which family members saw on both evenings. We thought it was fantastic on so many levels; we were hugely impressed and really enjoyed it. We are so delighted with [our son’s] progress over the fortnight; talking about it when he came home on Saturday evening after the show he was proud and confident and asked if he could do the senior summer school next year. I think that says it all!
