Acting with heart

A review of A Taste of Honey

Another excellent production from the Lyceum team, and yet another great example of interpretation which keeps the thoughtful juices flowing well after the curtain has fallen. Again, my party ranging from 11 years old up to 82 were still debating the central moral and in particular, the ending, for many hours after.

Full praise to the cast and production staff for bringing this story to the stage and making it such an entertaining production for those of us who studied this British classic at school many years ago.

And special praise for the best performance of a drunken oaf; you cannot get better than this entirely beliveable performance of the character Peter.

Well done Lyceum.
