A review of The Guid Sisters
Reviewer: Elaine Ellen
This was such a moving, passionate and funny play filled with energy and biting dialogue. We booked it after seeing the review in the Guardian and were not disappointed.
It was great to see this portrayal of a group of working class women, brought together in tableau like a female version of the Last Supper.
Rousing songs like Mad about the Bingo and the Housework 'rap' brought their loves and hates alive.
A fabulous evening! Please tour Wales where we live. I want all my mates to see it.
