A review of Mary Queen of Scots Got Her Head Chopped Off
Reviewer: Jennifer Adam
I thoroughly enjoyed this performance of Mary Queen of Scots, the modern setting and costumes contrasted perfectly with the plays historic theme.
I was particularly impressed at the energy of the two Queens, also acting as each other's maids, constantly changing not just their accents but their entire presence on stage.
The entire cast gave a powerful performance and the direction in the final playground scene keeps the audience captivated even after its freeze frame ending.
