Daniel Martinez - The Art of Believing

“Who hasn’t ever dreamt of accomplishing their dreams and sharing them with the world? I have always believed that if you dream it you can achieve it and having this unwavering belief in yourself and in your dreams will help you to soar and be the best you can be”

Composer and Flamenco guitar soloist Daniel Martinez presents his first Flamenco theatre production The Art of Believing.

The Art of Believing is Daniel’s own unique musical production, consisting of 12 talented and professional musicians coming together to create a powerful and exciting Flamenco performance full of heart, passion and feeling. The production hosts a beautiful mix of Flamenco singers, guitarists, percussionists, dancers and a violinist, joining Daniel to create an unmissable Flamenco experience.

“This work is a musical representation of my humble beginnings as a young boy learning to play the guitar and spending tireless hours perfecting the art of Flamenco to my adult life as a composer and musician here in Scotland; a country which has shown me great affection and taken me in with open arms since my arrival over 2 years ago. It is a true honour to present my first work here in the heart of Edinburgh, a city I now call my home and a place I hold close to my heart due to the incredible opportunities it has given me to interpret my best work as a performer”.

Daniel graduated from the Superior Conservatoire of Music ‘Rafael Orozco’ in Córdoba after 14 years of study. In 2015 he moved to Edinburgh to continue his love of performing.  Daniel is a regular performer in the Edinburgh International Fringe Festival as well as many other projects with musicians across the UK.

The Art of Believing is running for one night only, exclusively at the Royal Lyceum Theatre Edinburgh.
