Family Arts Day

Join us at The Lyceum as we throw open the doors for a fun-filled family day inspired by our Christmas show Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.

All activities are FREE but some do require booking, please see below for full details.

Drop-in activities throughout the day - no need to book
Suitable for all ages

Explore all of Wonderland from the White Rabbit’s House to the Queen of Heart’s Croquet Garden, finding clues for the chance to win tickets to the show for you and your family.

Get crafty and create your own Wonderland characters and scenery.

Come and listen to stories as magical as Lewis Carroll’s in an atmospheric theatre setting.

Play dress-up with Lyceum costumes – try on the Mad Hatter’s Hat or the Queen of Heart’s Crown.

Bookable activities – spaces are limited so get in there quick!
Come and explore the story, meet some characters and join in some family friendly drama games and activities based on Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.

Transform yourself into a Wonderland creature with this movement workshop aimed at children and their families.

Please note: Workshops will be aimed at young people aged 4-7 and their grown-ups, but older children are welcome. All children must be accompanied by an adult.Workshops lead by experienced Lyceum Youth Theatre tutors.
