BOBBY’S TREASURE HUNT
Greyfriar’s Bobby meets lots of characters on his adventures; follow the map and see if you can find them around the building! Say hello and collect the clues they give you to be in with the chance of winning a family ticket to see An Edinburgh Christmas Carol.
CAROLLERS CRAFT ROOM
Get creative and join in with some Victorian craft activities to take home with you!
TINY TIM’S STORY TIME
Listen to stories old and new amongst our comfy cushions and throws. At selected times throughout the day, which will be advertised at the event.
FEZZIWIG’S COSTUME EMPORIUM
Dive into some of our favourite costumes, transform yourself into a character and take a selfie to remember the day!
Booking required. To try and make the process as fair as possible, 50% of tickets will be released on Tuesday 17 September for advance booking and all remaining places will be released at 10am on Saturday 19 October. Online booking not available; all tickets must be booked by calling our Box Office on 0131 248 4848 or by visiting the Box Office in person.
10.30am, 11am, 12.15pm, 12.45pm, 2pm, 2.30pm. Running time: approx 1 hour.
Go on a backstage adventure and explore the spaces in The Lyceum not usually open to the public, learning about the history of the building as you go.
DRAMA WORKSHOP – BOBBY’S BIG ADVENTURE
Ages 4 - 7
10.45am and 1.15pm, running time: approx 45 mins
Join the most loyal dog in Edinburgh, Greyfriar’s Bobby, on a big adventure filled with fun drama games and activities!
DRAMA WORKSHOP – BAH HUMBUG!
Ages 8 - 11
12pm and 2.45pm, running time: approx 45 mins
Explore some of Dickens’ larger-than-life characters in this fun, fast-paced drama workshop.
Workshops carry age guidelines but all children are welcome. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Workshops led by experienced Lyceum Youth Theatre tutors.

All activities are free to attend and most are open on a drop-in basis.
Backstage tours have limited capacity and require a ticket. Booking for these events will open mid-September and we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.
