Junior Performance Course: The Unravelling by Fin Kennedy
In a Leith fabric shop, a dying mother challenges her children to weave her the greatest tale she has ever heard, using nothing more than pieces of cloth and their imagination. Little do they realise their prize is far more than inheriting the shop itself – it is the power to write their own futures.
As their stories begin to unravel, the shop fills with their creations – demons, zombies, talking fish... and some sinister reflections of themselves. Eventually their imaginations begin to strain at the fabric of reality itself and the line between story and real life becomes blurred.
Suitable for ages 11-13, this performance course is for anyone who is interested in improving their storytelling skills, building confidence and performing as an ensemble.
Please note that the script refers to death and dying. If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact us.
