LYT Presents: Eclipse

Lyceum Youth Theatre at The Traverse Theatre

Eclipse
By Simon Armitage
Directed by Rachael Esdale

"When it was done... we looked about, and she'd gone. Never thought for a second she might be lost. Although it can appear a very bright white, the Moon's surface is actually dark..."

It's the second brightest visible object in our sky. Second only to the sun. The Moon controls our calendars. The Moon determines the tide. Can the Moon control the fate of one teenager?

Lyceum Youth Theatre returns to the Traverse for the 6th year with this contribution to National Theatre Connections 2016.

As an exciting collaboration between Lyceum Youth Theatre and The Traverse Theatre, Eclipse will be presented as a double bill with brand new short plays written by the Traverse Young Writers group, performed script-in-hand by members of the LYT.

Traverse performances will appear alongside members of LYT showcasing rehearsed readings of brand new work by the Traverse Theatre Young Writers group.
