Chaperone (An Edinburgh Christmas Carol)

Four teams of two young people (ages 12-15) will be involved in The Lyceum’s Christmas production of An Edinburgh Christmas Carol. The Company are looking to appoint up to three people to act as chaperones throughout rehearsals and performances.

The chaperone’s role is to safeguard, support and promote the wellbeing of the young people during rehearsals and performances, as well as being the key person to whom the young people should turn for support. Chaperones will work under the Creative Team to ensure that young people are supported throughout the process and have access to appropriate food, rest and recreation breaks.

Applicants must be over 18, and willing to work evenings, weekends and across the Festive period (including Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Eve).

Closing date for applications: Monday 30 September 2019 at 12 noon.

Interviews will take place on Monday 7th October 2019. This date is non-negotiable.
