About 60+ Short Course – Improvisation

Led by Pippa Evans, this practical short course will introduce you to the basics of the art of improvisation. Through a range of exercises and games delivered in a friendly, supportive environment, you'll learn how to improvise with confidence while developing spontaneity and stage presence along the way. So whether you want to add a new tool to your performer's toolbelt, develop your public speaking skills, or just have fun with new creative people, this course will give you the boost you need.

Pippa is a multi-discipline performer, writer, and author with an incredibly rich creative background. After more than fifteen years in the cast of Olivier Award winning Showstopper! The Improvised Musical and having performed and taught around the world, we are incredibly excited to welcome her to The Lyceum to deliver this specialist course.

No previous performance or improvisation experience is required, just a willingness to share and try things out.

Please note that this course is part of our Adult Acting programme and is only open to those aged 60+. The course will run for 6 consecutive weeks between 22 October and 26 November, on Wednesday mornings.

If you have any questions or require more information, please get in touch with our Creative Learning Department at adultlearning@lyceum.org.uk
