60+ Short Course – Improvisation
About 60+ Short Course – Improvisation
Returning by popular demand, Pippa Evans will lead this practical short course introducing you to the basics of the art of improvisation. Through a range of exercises and games delivered in a friendly, supportive environment, you’ll learn how to improvise with confidence while developing spontaneity, performance skills, and stage presence along the way. So whether you want to add a new tool to your performer’s toolbelt, develop your public speaking skills or just have fun with new creative people – this course will give you the boost you need!
Pippa is a multi-discipline performer, writer and author with an incredibly rich creative background. After more than fifteen years in the cast of Olivier Award winning Showstopper! The Improvised Musical and having performed and taught around the world, we are incredibly excited to have her back at the Lyceum to deliver this specialist course.
No previous performance or improvisation experience is required, just a willingness to share and try things out! This course will offer an expansion on the skills learnt by those who attended the Autumn term improvisation course, while still being accessible to those with no prior experience.
14 January - 11 February, 11am - 1pm
