About An Evening With... David Tennant

David Tennant, ‘the greatest Hamlet of his generation’, first appeared on The Lyceum stage 34 years ago in one of his first roles after graduating from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland – Shinda The Magic Ape (our 1991 Christmas show). Shortly afterwards, aged 21, his appearance in Hay Fever as David Bliss marked another key role, followed in 2005 by an iconic, award-winning performance as Jimmy Porter in Look Back in Anger.

Two decades on, David is returning for an intimate onstage conversation where we’ll be taking a trip through his multi-award-winning career across stage and screen.

Proceeds from our “An Evening with…” events support The Royal Lyceum Theatre Edinburgh to help us to nurture the next generation of theatre-makers and keep new and bold work on our stage.

A limited number of VIP seats are available, which includes a pre-show reception from 6pm.

 *Plus a £1.95 theatre restoration levy/ transaction
