Summer on Stage Juniors and Seniors will present a double bill performance with each performance lasting approximately 50mins with a 20 minute interval. This year the shows will be:
The 39 Steps, Even More Abridged! adapted by Peter Barlow from the novel by John Buchan
150 zany characters, an onstage train chase, handcuffs, missing fingers, and some good old-fashioned romance - Alfred Hitchock’s classic spy thriller The 39 Steps has it all! Hilariously adapted for the stage this fast-paced comedic romp into the 1930s is a fun fuelled whodunnit that will keep you guessing until the very end.
A Hundred Words for Snow by Tatty Hennessy
A Hundred Words For Snow is a warm, witty and epic adventure story set in a melting world. Narrated by protagonist Rory, this complex tale explores grief, courage and polar bears! When faced with a sudden loss, Rory knows just how to honour their Dad’s memory, with one last expedition, so compass, vitamin C pills and map all packed, it’s time to head to the North Pole!
