About Summer on Stage 2024 Double Bill

Summer on Stage Juniors and Seniors will present a double bill performance with each performance lasting approximately 50mins with a 20 minute interval. This year the shows will be:

A Hundred Words for Snow by Tatty Hennessy

A Hundred Words For Snow is a warm, witty and epic adventure story set in a melting world. Narrated by protagonist Rory, this complex tale explores grief, courage and polar bears! When faced with a sudden loss, Rory knows just how to honour their Dad’s memory, with one last expedition, so compass, vitamin C pills and map all packed, it’s time to head to the North Pole!

The 39 Steps, Even More Abridged! adapted by Patrick Barlow from the novel by John Buchan

Hilariously adapted for the stage this fast-paced comedic romp into the 1930s is a fun fuelled whodunnit that will keep you guessing until the very end.
