Lyceum Youth Theatre Curtain Raisers

This season our Lyceum Youth Theatre Senior groups take to The Lyceum stage to perform pieces devised in response to four of our main stage shows: Jekyll & Hyde, Blue Beard, The Girls of Slender Means and Sunset Song. Watch this space for more information on each of our performances!

Curtain Raisers' are a 20-25 minute performance directed by our Creative Learning team and performed on a Friday night before the main show during the run. The event is a free but ticketed addition to the main stage show. You will need to purchase a ticket for the main stage show if you wish to see it.

Curtain Raisers’ provide our young people the opportunity to engage with the seasons shows and perform on The Lyceum main stage. They also allow The Lyceum to showcase the talents of our youth theatre members and nurture their engagement and development with theatre and performance.
