About 60+ Short Course - Directing
This course offers exclusive sessions with five different theatre directors, including The Lyceum’s own award-winning artistic director James Brining. Together we will interrogate the skills, techniques and vision required to direct work for the stage. Over five weeks you will have the chance to work with our guest directors to explore a variety of scripts, genres, staging practices, rehearsal techniques and creative challenges, to deepen your understanding of the director’s role through discussion and practical exercises.
Ideal for theatre enthusiasts looking to enhance their understanding of drama, the practicalities of staging, and contemporary directing practices.
Please note that this course is open to those aged 60+.
