About Summer on Stage – Seniors Course

Suitable for ages 14-19, this performance course is an opportunity to work as an ensemble on a scripted performance which will be presented on The Lyceum’s main stage at the end of the third week. Led by the Lyceum’s experienced facilitators and supported by a professional Theatre team, you’ll build confidence as a performer and gain acting experience alongside like-minded individuals.

This year both the Juniors & Seniors group will perform scenes from Philip Pullman's Grimm Tales an amateur production by arrangement with Nick Hern Books, Adapted by Philip Wilson, Original Author Philip Pullman.

No previous drama or performance skills are necessary; all we ask for is commitment, creativity, and bags of enthusiasm!

"I really enjoyed the script work that we did - I found that super interesting and will definitely be using some of the things I learned moving forward. I think I gained more confidence as well, with performing live but also with working with and talking to new people."
