Membership Terms and Conditions

Membership discounts are only available on specified shows with a maximum of 2 discounted tickets per show per membership. 

Discounts and offers apply to full-price tickets only

Discounts apply to all Lyceum productions, and eligible touring or visiting work. We will stipulate on the web-page of the event if the show is included.

Members must reserve, book and pay for bookings under their own membership account.

Priority booking opportunities made available as part of a Membership will apply to events selected by The Lyceum. Membership does not guarantee access to any tickets and ticket limits may apply.

Each Membership card entitles the bearer to a 10% discount on drinks in our venue bars and 50p off two ice creams per membership card. Please show your card at the time of purchase.

Membership discounts do not apply to merchandise, programmes, or sweets.

Members may exchange tickets up to 24 hours before a performance to another performance or to another show. There is no handling fee, however any difference in ticket price must be paid.

As with all our tickets, no refunds will be given to Members except in the event of cancellation of a performance. 

It is your responsibility to check upon receipt of your tickets, that you have tickets for the correct production, date and time with the correct discounts.

We reserve the right to make changes to the Membership benefits from time to time at our discretion. For any material changes to your Membership benefits we will notify you in advance of any changes taking effect, and such notification will include details of how you can cancel the Membership before the changes take effect. Donations are non-refundable.

As a member you will receive emails from The Lyceum about upcoming productions and events. You may also receive brochures or communications by post. To change contact preferences, please contact our box office team (boxoffice@lyceum.org.uk).

Member benefits are for the personal use of the individual identified as the Membership holder only, as set out in the Membership confirmation email and are non-transferable.
 

Lyceum Membership is an annual membership, and payment covers a period of 12 months from the month of purchase. 

The annual fee may change each year at our discretion.

Once you have signed up to a Membership you will receive a confirmation email providing the details of your Membership. 

Subject to any statutory right to cancel, your Membership Fee is non-refundable once payment has been received and you are not entitled to cancel or terminate before the expiry of the Membership Period unless otherwise permitted under these Terms. 

If you select to auto-renew annually, we will send you a renewal reminder prior to the expiry of your Membership Period. If you do not wish to renew, you must inform The Royal Lyceum Theatre at the earliest opportunity. At least ten working days before payment is due under the renewal as set out in the renewal notice, otherwise your Membership will automatically be renewed and you will be liable to pay the Membership Fee for the renewal as set out in the notice. 

Any gifted Membership must be paid for in full in advance. Following payment, you will be issued with a non-refundable voucher which must be activated within 12 months of the date of issue, as stated on the voucher, by the recipient of the gift in order to activate the Membership. Once activated, the gifted Membership will be valid for 12 months.

You have the right to cancel a Membership within 14 days of purchase for a full refund of the Membership Fee. To cancel your Membership during this period, you must contact us at the details below to confirm such request for cancellation. Following receipt of your cancellation notice, we shall be entitled to cancel any tickets and/or event bookings purchased under the Membership during this cancellation period, and in such case shall provide you with a credit for the cost of such purchase deducting any applicable administration fee.

Following cancellation, we will send you an acknowledgement email of the cancellation.

We do not offer any partial or pro-rata refunds of Memberships, except as set out in these Terms, and have no liability for any unused Membership.

Upon notification of the death of a member, we will conclude the Membership unless instructed to transfer to a named individual for the remainder of the annual Membership Period. Such transfers will be at our discretion.

We reserve the right to, if necessary, revoke Membership without refund if an individual behaves in a threatening or abusive manner towards any person at The Lyceum, damages or threatens to damage our property, or acts in a manner which – in our opinion – brings The Lyceum into disrepute, or is convicted of a serious crime including offences under money laundering, or bribery laws and regulations.
