Nicole Cooper
Nicole was nominated last year for Best Performance at the Critics' Awards for Theatre in Scotland for her Lady Macbeth in Macbeth (An Undoing). She previously won the award in 2022 for the title role in Medea, and in 2017 for her portrayal of Coriolanus (both Bard in the Botanics).
Nicole has played leading roles in Lear's Fool, Hamlet, The Winter’s Tale, As You Like It, Much Ado About Nothing, Anthony and Cleopatra, Timon of Athens, Measure for Measure, Othello (all Bard in the Botanics); and The Tempest (Glasgow Tron).
Further theatre credits include: An Oak Tree (Traverse); The Spark and Pleading (both Glasgow Oran Mor); The Scarlet Pimpernel (Pimpernel Productions); Sleeping Beauty (Byre Theatre); How to Fix a Broken Wing (Catherine Wheels TC); Horizontal Collaboration (Fire Exit TC), Getting Close (National Theatre of Scotland); and Where Did He Go? (Traverse Theatre).
