Emma Rice Company – Theatre Maker Taster Workshop

Emma Rice Company Training Programme is offering a unique opportunity for theatre makers aged 18+. 

In this free, four hour workshop, members of our Tristan & Yseult show team will introduce participants to the Emma Rice Company method. Through games, songs and devising exercises, you’ll explore how the company builds an ensemble and creates its work.

Actors, singers, musicians, dancers, directors, acrobats, clowns, and theatre-makers are all invited to apply. You don’t need loads of experience, but you do need to be a confident performer.

Emma Rice Company particularly welcomes applications from D/deaf, disabled and neurodivergent people, people from the global majority, and people from lower socio-economic backgrounds, who are under-represented in the theatre industry.

As the company delivers this workshop across the country, preference will be given to local artists.
